TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.  Property Access

Client agrees to provide Dixie Dirt reasonable access to the property for hive inspection, maintenance, and management. Dixie Dirt will provide reasonable notice before visits except in the case of emergency hive situations.

2.  Hive Loss & Liability

The death, collapse, or loss of a hive is not the responsibility of Dixie Dirt under any circumstance. Beekeeping involves living animals subject to natural forces beyond any keeper's control. All efforts will be made to preserve and prolong the health of the colony, however no guarantee of hive survival is made or implied.

3.  Swarming

Bees are living wild insects and may swarm. Dixie Dirt will take reasonable steps to manage and limit swarming, but cannot guarantee prevention. Swarm behavior is a natural process and Dixie Dirt assumes no liability for swarms that occur on or leave the property.

4.  Bee Stings & Risk

Client acknowledges that bees are present on their property and accepts the inherent risks associated, including the possibility of stings to themselves, household members, or visitors. Client is responsible for informing others present on the property of the hive.

5.  Research & Data

Dixie Dirt retains the right to collect and use environmental observations and data gathered at this property for research and publication purposes. Including and not limited to photographs. No personal client information will be published without written consent.

6. Payment

Client agrees to pay the agreed monthly service amount by the last day of each month for any month in which services are active. All other one-time or agreed payments outside of the recurring schedule are due as established at the time of signing. Additional charges may be added throughout the duration of services if unexpected tasks arise or if work beyond the original scope is required. Any such additions will be communicated to the client prior to or at the time the work is performed and documented as an addendum to this agreement.

7.  Chemicals & Sprays

Client agrees not to apply pesticides, herbicides, or other chemical sprays in the vicinity of the hive or in areas the bees forage without first notifying Dixie Dirt. Chemical exposure is a leading cause of hive loss and client assumes responsibility for any hive damage resulting from chemical use on their property.

8.  Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with reasonable written or verbal notice. Dixie Dirt reserves the right to remove any hive placed on the property upon termination. Client is responsible for any fees owed for services rendered prior to termination.
